Shelley Jackson is a ball of energy, passion and light! She is currently a Governing Board Member for the Roosevelt School District, a Community Organizer, Mentor, Dancer, Social Justice Advocate and much much more... Shelley's role in our community is influential and inspiring as she works hard to advocate and uplift for her community, South Phoenix. At such a young age, she is so accomplished and has made such a big impact with her work and who she is. In this episode we talk about how she manages to go after her biggest dreams even when they scare her, how she practices self-care when experiencing difficult emotions, especially during the times of our country's heightened racism and bigotry, and her sources of inspiration and motivation. It was so much fun and an honor to talk with Shelley! She is a shining light and a leader of love!

Mary Rabago is a former Award-Winning Journalist, proud mom of 2, Entrepreneur, Digital Coach, and Business Consultant, She is a trusted voice and leader in her community of Phoenix, Arizona, but also in different cities across the U.S borders and different U.S states where she has become a trusted voice in their communities. Her business slogan #JournalismWithAPurpose is a demonstration of who Mary is and what her work is fueled by and that is: serving others and educating and uplifting her community. Aileen Carrasco, a Bilingual Sports Reporter, on camera TV personality, Model and Entrepreneur has been going after each of her dreams with even just the faith of a mustard seed, but she has never stopped pursuing them and does not plan to! 

She is very honest in sharing with us that her journey has not been easy, nonetheless, her faith and purpose for life has been what keeps her going. In this conversation she shares how she began in radio and TV and, now her experience as a Bilingual sports reporter.

Dr. Lindsay Romasanta, a leader, professional and changemaker in the higher education space shares some of her early experiences as a first-generation college student and her sense of calling and intentionality to help young people achieve their full potential. 

She is driven by being of service to others and living a purpose-driven life. Initially, her journey in higher education was not planned, she began with a background in social work, but came across an opportunity in the higher education space that would allow her to be close to her family. Mauree Valentine is a recent entrepreneur of business, Valentine Essentials. She has a vibrant, lively and kind soul that is purpose driven to love people. She shares very real moments with us about some of her personal experience navigating self confidence and we share a conversation about mental health. Mauree is a beautiful reminder to us all that we are where we are meant to be in this moment and to just love evry minute of it on the journey to where we are meant to be.

Dr. Erika Townshend, DPT (Doctor of Physical Therapy), is such a great role model to others and her community. She carries such a bright light in her persona and it shines wherever she goes. Her genuine heart to care for others and truly listen to them is what makes her stand out. Dr. Townshend shares some of her experience to and through Physical Therapy School. Stephanie Vasquez, owner of the Fair Trade Cafe and Founder of the E.L.L.A Organization (Empowering Latina Leaders in Arizona, and the Mujeres Mercado, the largest Latina market in Arizona. These are just a few of the hats she wears, but her most important hat is that of being a Momma.
