Today Mark Forbes takes us through Mark 14:43-65Reacting quickly is a great skill when playing games but when it comes to relationships we want to do the exact opposite.  Respond.  In this passage from Mark’s gospel we see Jesus’ modelling how to respond well even in the midst of terrible circumstances.  How can we learn from His model of a lifestyle of devotion and communion with God, and take that into our everyday?  If this is the life that Jesus led, and we’ve said yes to Him being our leader, then we can live a life of response, not reaction, because He promises to give us everything we need to live a godly life by His Spirit.
