Shania discusses what she’s been learning from her morning devotion. Trusting God in the midst of our troubles and trials is one of the hardest things to do. God is a good God, and an all powerful God even if we don’t see it or feel it. He is in control over all things, even the bad things that happen to us. I hope this short episode encourages you today as it encouraged me as I was reading it.

I know... it's been a while but we finally uploaded singleness part two!! Today we hear Shania talk about her struggles with singleness, and how her parents divorce affected her. We talk about generational sins and wonder are people fighting for their marriages anymore? 

We continue this conversation of singleness and discuss important reminders that help us switch our focus from earthly things to eternal things and share from our own journal entries on how God helps us in the "waiting seasons."

In part 1 Shania and Mikala dive into singleness and discuss the over used phrases and clichés of this “season.” This episode includes personal stories, things we’ve learned, ways we still want to grow, and some ranting all centered around the touchy topic of singleness. Wedding season is in full bloom here and we had a lot of fun reminiscing on wedding mishaps, stressors, and funny stories! Whether you're single, engaged, married, or a bridesmaid, wedding season can be overwhelming for anyone but the hope is you join us for some laughs as we reflect on these memories and the things we learned throughout this process.

Shania got married this last February and Mikala was her MOH. Neither of them had ever been a bridesmaid or part of any wedding in such a huge way. They learned a lot. Hopefully you can relate with them during the craziness that is wedding planning.

They discuss anxious thoughts over jobs and careers, current and future relationships, money concerns, fear of change, "am I ready for..." and how we rely on Christ to help keep us grounded when these thoughts overwhelm us.
