In this episode, I bring you an interview I recently had with Tina McCafferty of the We The People Our American Story Podcast. For those of you who are new to this podcast, this is an awesome opportunity to get to know your me a little more and to discuss my background and views on America.

Welcome to Season 2 of Restitch America. This is a special episode that recaps the Reclaim Our Narrative Initiative we launched on September 13th, 2023.

We launched Restitch America on Nov 8th 2022, the same day I was able to cast my first vote as an American in a federal election. I started this show because I believed that we could get beyond the vitriol and echo chambers and embrace one another again as fellow citizens. 25 episodes in, I feel even more strongly about that mission. Restitch America changes things up in episode 24 by taking you through Alma's experience visiting to slave castles in Ghana. As he describes his experience learning about the slave trade, we dive deeper into what went on in Ghanian culture during that time period, how the slave trade was started, and make parallels to the modern day. Restitch America's goal in discussing these difficult topics is to help others learn and to live by what Frederick Douglas said, "Knowledge makes a man unfit to be a slave." By doing so, we can keep generations from being ensnared by physical, mental bondage, or spiritual bondage. Come on this humbling journey with us, and share your thoughts with us.

This episode is short and sweet and a reminder that I am back in the United States safe and sound.

For Episode 22, we discuss Gen Z and what values are attractive to this generation of adults with Kiyah Willis, a Gen Z TikTok Influencer! Kiyah Willis is a fellow at Objective Standard Institute, focusing on cultural trends and their causes and consequences. You can find her advocating reason, individualism, and liberty on Twitter and TikTok.

For Episode 21, the Restitch America crew breaks down their thoughts on the previous two episodes regarding CRT. The discussion dives into the importance of listening to both sides of the political aisle, challenging the status quo in governance, and focusing on helping future generations see their ultimate potential.

For Part Two, we continue our conversation from last episode with Marcia Rothschild. We begin discussing topics surrounding the disparities present among people, and the powers that be that control many of these aspects of society. The episode also dives into ways the Left and Right can better connect with each other, and open dialogue.

For Part One of Episode 19, we open up with our guest Marcia Rothschild. Marcia is a 30-year resident of Estes Park, Colorado, who works remotely between Los Angeles and New York. She is a casting and scouting director for both: www.sixwolves.com and www.west-management.jp. Marcia’s heritage is Native Muskogee and French/Dutch and she as well as all her children are on the Autism spectrum. Marcia is pro-equality for BIPOC, LGBTQ, and women. She is also agnostic, but has a deep faith in God.

Our guest for Episode 18 is Braden Tavelli. Braden is the creator of Blueprint Bulletin. A news service looking to format the news in a manner that prioritizes educational information instead of commentary. The discussion today focuses on Trump's arrest and the media response to his arrest.
