'If you could only give one advice to new mothers, what would that be?' The other day someone​ asked me what mine would be.

So I thought this is the perfect topic for my final episode as well as summarising the advice from all the amazing women I was lucky enough to having on the show.

In this episode we look into guilt and shame and the difference between the two based on Brene Brown's research and her podcast 'Unlocking us' and especially focusing on our self talk as mothers and also how guilt and shame and their different meaning are impacting our parenting.⠀

We will always experience mum guilt. There is no way around it. ⠀

We all make mistakes and in that case, feeling guilt is actually promoting positive change.⠀

⠀

Yet most of the time, we feel guilty because we put ourselves first. And as mothers we need that, to simply keep it together, take a breath and keep going. So in that situation, tell your monkey mind to f off.⠀
