This week in our Holy Spirit series, we open up one of the most avoided conversations in the church: speaking in tongues. In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul reminds us that every gift comes from the same Spirit, serves the same Lord, and exists for the benefit of the whole body. Together, we walk through what Scripture actually says about tongues, how they function in three distinct settings, and why love must always be the foundation from which every gift operates. Through a careful look at 1 Corinthians 12, 13, and 14, we discover that Paul never asks us to choose between character and power, between the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. A bad experience does not get the final word and fear should never keep us from receiving everything God desires to give. The gift may get someone's attention, but the fruit shows them what Jesus is like. Do not pursue an experience more than you pursue Jesus, but do not let fear keep you from receiving everything Jesus has for you.

This week in our Holy Spirit series, we look at what it truly means to receive a fresh wind from elsewhere. In Acts 2, the disciples gathered in the upper room and experienced something no amount of human effort could manufacture, the wind of the Holy Spirit falling and changing everything in an instant. Together, we explore why discipline alone cannot clear the smog of life, what it means to raise our sails in faith before the wind arrives, and how the same breath of God that brought Adam to life and filled a valley of dry bones is still moving today. Through the story of Hudson Taylor on a becalmed ship, the vision of Ezekiel in the valley of dry bones, and a personal encounter with God in a hospital room in Savannah, we discover that revival does not come from trying harder. It comes from creating space and positioning ourselves to receive what only the Holy Spirit can do. The wind is not something we produce. It is something we prepare to receive.

In Week 3 of our Holy Spirit series, we explore what the Bible teaches about the gifts of the Spirit and why they were given. Discover the difference between grace gifts, ministry gifts, and manifestation gifts, and learn how each one works together to strengthen the Church and advance God’s Kingdom. Most importantly, you’ll be challenged to stop asking, “What is my gift?” and start asking, “Holy Spirit, how do You want to use me today?”

God didn’t give you spiritual gifts to admire them. He gave them so others could experience Jesus through your life.

In 1 Thessalonians 2, Paul paints a picture of Kingdom culture through the language of family, revealing what it looks like when Jesus truly sits on the throne of a household. From hospital rooms to prison cells to a Roman cross, God's people have always struggled with the distance between faith and circumstances. The answer to anxiety is not greater control, it is greater trust in the King and deeper investment in His Kingdom.

This week we continue our Unshakable series by confronting one of the greatest barriers to fully walking in the Kingdom of God: unforgiveness. Together, we explore how bitterness blocks peace, joy, healing, and spiritual freedom, while forgiveness releases us into the life God intended for us to live. Through powerful teachings from Scripture, the parable of the unforgiving servant, the example of Corrie ten Boom, and ultimately the words of Jesus on the cross, we are challenged to extend the same grace we have freely received. Forgiveness is not weakness, approval, or pretending wounds never happened. It is trusting God enough to release what has been holding us captive.
