Psalm 23 contains the famous passage, "though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me". Pastor Nate compares this biblical truth with the message of the popular Selena Gomez song, "It Ain't Me", in which she sings to a potential ex-partner stating that they will have to find someone else to depend on once she leaves. The importance of King David's message in the Psalm cannot be understated; God will never leave or forsake us as even those in our most coveted relationship sometimes do.

While discussing Lazarus' death, Jesus tells Martha that He is the resurrection and the life, and that those who believe in Him will have life after death. Jesus then proceeds to do the miracle no one expected by raising Lazarus from the dead.

In the 4th week of the I Am series, Pastor Nathan Gagne reiterates what Jesus says in regard to Himself. Jesus sets Himself apart from the religious leadership of His time stating that He is the Good Shepherd; tending His flock rather than running at the first sign of danger as a hired man would.

The religious leaders of the time were attempting to cast doubt on Jesus, stating that He could not be the true Savior. Jesus relates His story to that of the modern shepherds; whose flocks only followed the voice of their true master.

In the second week of the I Am series, Pastor Andrew Zemianek lays out the process which all those who decide to trust in Jesus undergo throughout their walk with Him. We must consciously strive to allow Him to reveal to us how we are unlike Him, allow Him to purify us of these things, and then allow Him to lead us into a life which more closely resembles that which He has chosen for us.
