In this stand alone message, Pastor Nate equates a healthy church body to a forest of redwood trees. Redwoods, for as tall as they grow, have relatively shallow root systems, but by interlocking with other redwood roots, they stay aloft through wind & storm. In this way, the church should strive to be a church of true & genuine friendships, following Jesus' command to love one another, rather than being known as a church filled simply with friendly interactions on Sunday mornings.
