Periodically, we love to hear from people in Restoration about how God is bringing restoration in their lives. Dr. Patton Thompson is a pulmonologist at Baptist health in Lexington, KY, and is on the front line of the battle against COVID-19. Here's his story - along with how his faith is guiding him in uncertain times.

There may be tears in the midst of death, but Jesus is walking the road towards resurrection. This Easter, we're called to do the same. (John 11:1-44) 

Jesus is the man of sorrows - the God who suffers with us in our tears and suffers for us on the cross. 

On this Palm Sunday, we look to the psalm sung by the priests in the Temple every Sunday, which looked forward to the comong King of Glory. One Sunday, 2,000 years ago, that King arrived.

Psalm 27 doesn't pretend like everything is fine. But is does call us to a deeper place in God - not apart from the battle, but within it.

In the midst of crisis, we turn to the Psalms to experience the full gamut of emotions and faith. This week, we look to Psalm 13, a prayer that lives in the tension between deep longing and unshakable hope. 

Like Churches all over the world, we're grappling with the ramifications of the coronavirus and it's impact on our city. As leaders, we're in the process of finding ways to remain connected and faithful in these times. In the meantime, here's a message from our pastor, Justin, called "What Do We Do With Our Fear?"
