The Gospel of John is written to make something abundantly clear: When we see Jesus, we see what God is like. (John 1:1-18)

In order to fully rest in God's provision, we need the way we see our work to be transformed. Our work isn't a hindrance to our flourishing, but rather and important part of it. (Genesis 1:2-28, 3:17-19)

You can't rest in your head. Sabbath, like all spiritual practices, call us out of religious rules and into spiritual rhythms with physical expressions. (Mark 2:23-28)

In slavery, we are valued by how much we produce, in Sabbath rest, we are valued by our identity in our Father. (Exodus 20:8-11)

In a word discipled to divide, we see the Table as the place where Jesus brings us together. We may not agree on everything, but we'll save you a seat. (2 Samuel 9:1-6)

Sunday, we had a Church Family Meeting where we talked about our understanding of leadership and our desire to be a culture of empowerment. Here, Justin recaps the day and gives us next steps. 

The way we see our stuff - our money, possessions, time, resources - is far different in Jesus' kingdom than the kingdoms of this world. Because of this, we choose to live generous lives that reflect the heart of our generous God. (1 Timothy 6:17-19)
