We learn a lot about ourselves during difficult times. As we train to respond to the world around us, we need to ask, "Does what we're learning lead us to walk more like Jesus?"

When life feels like it is spinning around us, we can react by trying to be in control or we can respond by releasing everything to our God who is always in control. On this Mother's Day special we are joined by Dynasty McNeil, Martha Chester, and Shelly Fisher.

As humans, when we get stressed out, we tend to react by wanting to self medicate. It can be through food, alcohol, finding a sense of control, or distractions like TV. All these distractions are just counterfeits of what the Lord offers if we pause and respond in Worship.

Are we living a life that other people can look towards to imitate?

During uncertain times, we all have a choice. Do we react or respond?

Prayer is important and it changes things, especially us.

The outside world seems to distract and crash in on us. Right now we have the time to spend time with Jesus and cultivate an intimacy with the Holy Spirit that leads to an inner world that is greater than our outer world.
