It happens to all of us; things look different when they are far away, and we confuse it for something else. When you get closer, you see it for what it really is and not what you thought it was. The sad thing is that we can do the same thing when it comes to people. If you don’t live around people like yourself, then it is easy to believe labels. But what about when we get closer? When we see them as people and not a stereotype? Jesus did this when He went to Samaria and had a divine appointment with a woman at a well.
