📖 Grace in a Corrupt World
Genesis 6:1–8

As wickedness increased and corruption became normal, God still saw.
He saw the brokenness.
He grieved over sin.
And He extended grace.

Noah didn’t earn God’s favor—he found it. 🙏
Grace didn’t begin with human effort.
✨ Grace began with God’s mercy.

Enoch walked with God.

While the world around him moved steadily toward death, Enoch lived by faith, demonstrating that closeness with God is possible even in a fallen world. His life reminds us that faithfulness is not determined by our surroundings, but by our daily walk with the Lord. Darkness may be widespread, but devotion still shines.

📖 Story of Scripture — Day 5
“Sin Spreads”
Genesis 4 (ESV)

Genesis 4 shows us how quickly sin grows when it is left unchecked. What begins as jealousy in Cain’s heart soon turns into anger, then violence, and finally the first murder. Worship is distorted. Relationships are shattered. The first family is fractured by sin’s destructive power.

Yet even here, God’s mercy is present.

Before Cain acts, God warns him that sin is crouching at the door, calling him to rule over it rather than be ruled by it. And after the tragedy, God restrains evil, showing that judgment is never separated from His patience. Sin spreads—but God’s voice still calls people to repentance.

As The Story of Scripture continues, we are reminded that sin always multiplies when ignored, but God continually intervenes, warns, and pursues hearts with grace.
