📖 Exodus 15

After the Red Sea closed behind them and freedom stood in front of them, Israel did something powerful — they sang.

Exodus 15 records the first worship song in Scripture. Not whispered relief. Not cautious gratitude. But bold, victorious praise.

“The Lord is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.” (Exodus 15:2)

Redemption always produces a response.

God parts the sea.
God defeats the enemy.
God delivers His people.

And worship flows naturally from gratitude for salvation.

True praise is not manufactured emotion — it is the overflow of remembering what God has done.

📖 Exodus 13–14

Israel stood trapped — mountains on each side, Pharaoh’s army behind them, and the Red Sea in front of them.

No escape.
No strategy.
No human solution.

But when there was no way forward…
God made a way.

With a mighty hand, the Lord parted the sea. What looked like certain defeat became supernatural deliverance. The same waters that terrified them became the pathway of their salvation.

Exodus 14 reminds us that God is not limited by what limits us. When obedience leads you to an impossible place, it may be the very stage where God displays His glory. The Red Sea was not an obstacle — it was an opportunity for revelation.

And the same God who made a way through the sea still makes a way today.

🔥 Day 47 — “The Blood on the Doorposts”

📖 Exodus 11–12

Tonight we stepped into one of the most defining moments in all of Scripture — Passover.

As the final plague approached, God made a distinction between judgment and mercy. Every home in Egypt faced the same coming death… but only those covered by the blood would be spared.

The Israelites weren’t saved because they were stronger.
They weren’t spared because they were better.
They were protected because they were covered.

🩸 The lamb had to die.
🩸 The blood had to be applied.
🩸 The doorposts had to be marked.

Salvation required sacrifice.

Passover wasn’t just about deliverance from Egypt — it was about pointing forward to a greater redemption still to come.

Hundreds of years later, another Lamb would shed His blood — not on wooden doorposts, but on a wooden cross.

The message of Passover is clear:
Judgment passes over those covered by the blood.

Redemption has always required sacrifice.
Grace has always been costly.
And God has always made a way.

🔥 Day 46 — Power Over False Gods 🔥
📖 Exodus 7–10

In these chapters, we don’t just see plagues—we see a showdown.

Each plague in Egypt wasn’t random. It was intentional. Strategic. Targeted. God was dismantling the false gods of Egypt one by one.

• The Nile turned to blood — striking at Hapi, god of the Nile.
• Darkness covered the land — confronting Ra, the sun god.
• Livestock died — exposing the weakness of their fertility gods.
• Frogs, gnats, hail, locusts — each plague declared the same truth:

There is no rival to the Lord.

Pharaoh believed he was divine. Egypt believed their gods controlled nature. But Yahweh showed that He alone commands creation, life, and history.

This wasn’t just judgment. It was revelation.

God was revealing:
👉 He is not one god among many.
👉 He is not regional.
👉 He is not limited.
👉 He alone is sovereign.

And here’s the part that hits home — we may not bow to statues of stone, but we still battle modern “gods.”

Success.
Money.
Control.
Reputation.
Security.

Anything that competes for our trust becomes a false god.

Exodus 7–10 reminds us: whatever we elevate above God will eventually be exposed as powerless.

The Lord alone is worthy of worship.
The Lord alone is worthy of trust.
The Lord alone has power over every rival.

Day 45 — “The God Who Keeps His Promises”
📖 Exodus 5–6

Obedience doesn’t always bring immediate relief.
Sometimes, like Israel, doing exactly what God asks can seem to make things worse.

After Moses spoke to Pharaoh, the people’s workload increased. Hope felt fragile. Trust felt costly.
But God was not absent—and He was not surprised.

Instead of changing His plan, God reminded Israel of His covenant.
He reaffirmed who He is, what He promised, and what He would surely do.

God’s faithfulness is not measured by visible progress.
It is anchored in His unchanging character.

If today feels heavier than yesterday…
If you’ve been faithful and things haven’t improved…
Don’t confuse delay with denial.

The same God who promised is the God who delivers.
He keeps His word—always.

Big takeaway:
God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called.
Our weakness is not a barrier to God’s work; it’s often the place where His power shines the brightest.

When God sends you, He also goes with you.
