Our souls are that complete set of ten silver coins. “Ten” means completeness, perfection, and unity. “Silver” symbolizes, salvation, holiness, value, and the refining of the hearts of people. This parable of the lost coin is all about how we manage the mistakes we make, those character checks that can separate us from being in Christ and living our value and being as He is in this world. We all make mistakes that become defining moments by which our choices will either break or build us. Jesus is always building His Church. The light of His word is the direction of God’s Spirit fully present in our souls to hear and obey God.
