Your Seat, His Table

God’s instructions are fixed, focused, full, and fail-proof. His instructions emphasize how and focus on the details necessary in the process. That process particularly includes maturing and perfecting our faith, so the Promised Land never looks too difficult, never seems too far. Take God’s word personally. Obedience to God’s word empowers our souls, adds life to our years, and builds in us a sustaining grace to always live well able.

Just because someone is good to us does not mean he/she is good for us! Good in our hands does not determine if something/someone is good for our souls.  The difference is why! Always be able to answer why. When our obedience to Christ matters most, we will be as He is to others. That obedience defines what we bring and who we choose to be to others. Help people become settled in Christ! Mastering humility is the key to making any relationship work as we value others above ourselves.
