The Call to Repentance

Mathew 11:28-30 “ Come to me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take up my yoke and learn from me, because I am lowly and humbled and heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Romans 5:1-5

“Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for his mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness! I say, ‘The Lord is my portion, therefore I will put my hope in him.’” Lamentations 3:22-24

Proverbs 15:1-2 “ A gentle answer turns away anger,But a harsh word stirs up wrath. The tongue of the wise make knowledge attractive, but the mouth of fools blurts out foolishness.”

Deuteronomy 29:29 “The Lord our God has secrets known to no one. We are not accountable for them, but we and our children are accountable forever for all that he has revealed to us, so that we may obey all the terms and these instructions.”

Isaiah 40:28-31 “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the whole earth. He never becomes faint or weary; there is no limit to his understanding. He gives strength to the faint and strength end the powerless. Youths may become faint and weary, and young men stumble and fall, but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will walk and not faint”

Jeremiah 17:7-8 “ The person who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence indeed is the Lord, is blessed he will be like a tree planted by water, it sends its roots out toward a stream, it doesn’t fear when heat comes, and it’s foliage remains green. It will not worry in a year of drought or cease producing fruit.”
