In Matthew 25:42–43, Jesus confronts something most men overlook:

In Matthew 25:41, Jesus gives a warning that shouldn’t be ignored:

Don’t wait until it’s too late.

This isn’t about obvious rebellion—
 it’s about delay.

The people in this passage weren’t villains.
 They were passive.
 They saw opportunities… and did nothing.
 They felt conviction… and postponed it.

And eventually—time ran out.

Here’s the truth:
 God didn’t create separation for people—He created relationship.
 But when a man keeps choosing comfort over obedience,
 he slowly drifts in the wrong direction.

Not all at once—
 but over time.

That’s the danger.

Most men don’t plan to walk away from purpose—
 they just keep saying, “later.”

Later I’ll lead.
 Later I’ll fix it.
 Later I’ll deal with it.

But faith isn’t proven by intention—
 it’s proven by action.

And one day, every man will stand before God—
 not to explain what he meant to do,
 but to answer for what he actually did.

Big Question:
Where in your life are you delaying obedience?

Challenge:
Take one step today. Not tomorrow. Today.
Act on what you already know God is asking of you.

Prayer:
Father, forgive me for delaying what You’ve called me to do. Give me urgency, courage, and discipline to act now. Help me live a life that’s faithful and ready. Amen.

In Matthew 25:37–40, Jesus completely reframes what it means to serve Him:

You don’t miss God by missing a platform—you miss Him by missing people.

The righteous are surprised. They ask when they ever saw Jesus hungry, thirsty, sick, or in need. And Jesus answers with a profound truth:

Whatever you did for the least of these, you did for Me.

That means serving God isn’t always global or dramatic.
It’s often local and ordinary.

The person you walk past.
The friend who’s quietly struggling.
The coworker who never says much.
The family member carrying more than they show.

We often look for “big assignments,” but miss the small ones right in front of us.

Because impact doesn’t start far away—it starts where your feet are.
