Why do over half the people on the planet look back to Abraham as their father in faith? What is it about him and his story that is so appealing? It isn't so much Abraham that is appealing, but the God of Abraham. Just when the radical intervention of God was desperately needed in the world, he called Abraham personally to a relationship of total dependence with missional purpose. Abraham believed God's gracious promises, and it was credited to him as righteousness.
