Resurrection Life Church

God has been moving since the day He breathed His First breath into Adam.  God is moving always it is that we do see Him moving because we are too busy with too much that doesn't matter in the Kingdom.  God is doing amazing things around the world and God wants to do them here as well.  Our friend and guest speaker Wayne Drain will share four things that God will do in 2023

Pray is not a requirement but an honor and privilege to communicate and be intimate with our heavenly Father.  We could look around at our world today and say we need change.  We need help.  We need God to move.  How is that going to happen?  It will never happen until God's sons and daughters stand up and kneel down and pray.  Not just individual prayers, which by the way are powerful.  But when we as a body, a church, the called out ones, pray together God is moved and intervenes in our lives.  And when we do our world is better because of it and God is honored and glorified.

There are certain matters that matter in the Kingdom of God.  Most of what we think matters in this world and the things that we ascribe value to don't transfer or translate to the kingdom of God.  How we treat people is of utmost importance in the Kingdom of God but here on this earth is has become a dog eat dog world.  It's all about me, what I want or what I need.  Others are not more than a hinderance to what I want or desire or they can be beneficial to my wants.  In the Kingdom of God, God values people above every other living creature on the earth.  That is why He sent Jesus to redeem us so we could have a relationship with Him and also with each other.

"The Kingdom of Heaven is at hand."  These were the first public words spoken by John the Baptist and Jesus Christ.  Why?  Because the Kingdom wasn't going to come, the Kingdom of Heaven was come, in the flesh, in the person of Jesus.  The Church has been waiting for something that is already here.  As American Christians we have this sense of anticipation of something that will happen in the future when Jesus, i.e. the King of the Kingdom, is standing right in front of us.  It is time we live for the King in the Kingdom that is in the here and now.
