Our heart is one of the most important organs in our body. Without it we would die. Heart health is of the utmost important in order for us to be productive members of society that are assets and not liabilities to the cities, countries, and communities we live in. Would you not agree? The same goes for our spiritual heart health. If our hearts are full of disease (anger, bitterness, resentment, etc...) and our arteries are full of plaque (sins of the flesh, selfish living, etc...) we won't have the energy and stamina to be powerful sons and daughters of God that can make an impact on this world. Today Pastor Allen shares four strongholds that will affect our heart health and how we can overcome them.

When God makes a promise He always keep it. Jesus, told His disciples He had to go back to the Father but He would not leave them helpless, He would send the Promise of the Father. Who is that Promise? The Holy Spirit. Many American Christian are apprehensive when you talk about the Holy Spirit. Why? Probably because He is unpredictable, impractical, uncontrollable, and a whole bunch more than we just don't understand. But He is good and comes to empower us, followers of Jesus Christ, to go into all the world and change it and make a difference. We can't do what Jesus has called us to so without Him. We need Him no matter how unpredictable He can be. Without Him we can't be the Church Jesus wants us to be.

Fatherhood and Masculinity is under attack today in our world. However, God and His Word has a lot to say about Fatherhood. The Scripture says that children are like arrows in the hand of a Warrior. Which means as fathers we have a great responsibility to train up our children in godly precepts and principles. We must be purposeful and intentional. Children grow up to be adults and those adults affect the world. The arrows that are in our hands as fathers are to be shot with great purpose, intent and focus. Which means we as father has to humble ourselves before God and call on Him for power and strength.
