We must take critical lessons from the life of Joseph and apply them to our lives to increase our faith and follow this example of a life well lived.

Jesus at times made it clear that if anyone wanted to follow Him they would do so at a cost. He said things like "Pick up your cross and follow me" and "No man putting his hand to the plow and looking back is worthy of the kingdom of God". The Apostle Paul tells us to run the race as one who intends to win. There is a great amount of effort needed as we press in to take the kingdom.

We mostly experience a gentle progression of life and a slow, steady transition from one thing to the next. Sometimes though the Lord will bring a radical and sudden change that abruptly alters the course of events and the lives of individuals. We need to be ready for these times in our own lives and we need to be ready to expect the unexpected.

The disciples asked the Lord, "What will be the sign of Your coming and the end of the age?" Good question.

Many things of God began in a small way and yet grew to have a profound impact on the kingdom of God. The most notable of course is the unassuming, simple birth of the greatest person who ever lived - Jesus. This message of appreciation for the beginning of things and God's capacity to grow them will inspire you to see spiritual value in all of God's Creation.

Too many of us have experienced an extended lull in the presence and power of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. God wants to raise our expectations for revival and the blessings that only the manifold presence of God can bring.
