Resurrection Life Poplarville

Unless God builds it, it will not last.  Yes, mankind has build structures that have lasted centuries but we are talking about a life.  Our hope and trust can't be in our own ability to sustain ourselves.  We can't do it without God.  How do we allow God to do the work in our life that will sustain us and out last us? We must build of lives, our marriages, our families, our businesses on the sure foundation, Jesus. The rock to build our lives on is an unmoved and unshaken even in the midst of a very moved and shaken world. We build on Him through living humbly, trusting the Lord, and knowing His heart.

The thought of fasting and praying usually does not appeal to most people.

Why did Jesus command us to fast and pray? What's the point? What will happen? Jesus said in Matthew 17:21, "these things only come through prayer and fasting." The act of fasting and prayer requires a physical obedience that brings about spiritual breakthrough. We pray this message by Pastor Jacob Hickman encourages and stirs you up to seek the Lord's face and stand in the gap for loved ones through praying and fasting.

The most wonderful time of the year is widely known to be a season of giving gifts. There are so many things that came along with Emmanuel, God with us, coming to earth. Things like healing, deliverance, peace, joy, etc are great gifts that came along with Jesus, but Jesus is THE GIFT. We pray this powerful message from Pastor Jacob Hickman encourages, builds, and equips to live a life worthy of THE GIFT.

From Rocky Balboa to Star Wars, theme songs are crafted to point to something or someone. There is a theme song that Heaven proclaims, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” This theme song describes the significance of Jesus coming to the earth. In the midst of a stressful night for Joseph and Mary, great Joy should mark us. We pray this message from Pastor Jacob Hickman encourages, builds, and equips you to live a life of great Joy.

The story of Christmas is Emmanuel, God With Us. God Almighty, King of the universe came to Earth to walk as a man. After Jesus was born, the wise men came bearing gifts, but most importantly the wise men left different than the way they came. In this powerful message from Pastor Ryan Moreaux, he preaches from Matthew 2:1-15 encapsulating the meaning of the wise men. We pray this message encourages, builds, and equips you to leave DIFFERENT than the way you came.

In life we are all marked by something, whether that is our past, our mistakes, our successes, our accolades. Throughout the Bible, biblical heroes of the faith always marked a location when God did something in that place. Due to what Jesus has done, we no longer have to make locations; we are marked. As believers in Jesus, we are to be marked by the Spirit of God- to be his "heap of witnesses." We pray this message encourages, builds, and equips you to live a life that is marked by God Almighty.

In the last days there will be perilous times. These perilous times do not result from an outside force, they result from people being lovers of themselves. In a world that is all about "ME!" and "how I feel", negativity, no hope, and complaining is a byproduct. Thanksgiving is not a one day event, it is a lifestyle. Thanksgiving helps us as believes truly see how big the God is whom we serve. Thanksgiving should be a byproduct of genuine faith. We pray this series by Pastor Jacob Hickman encourages to live a lifestyle of giving thanks regardless of circumstances.

As followers of Jesus, we live by faith. We are called to live by faith and not by site. Healing is a byproduct of knowing God despite if we are seeing it in the moment or not. Jesus offers us healing in all these areas: emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical. We pray this message encourages, builds, and equips you to walk in everything Jesus died to give you.

In the midst of a confusing and loud world, it is time to take a stand as Christians. We are ambassadors for Christ, entrusted with His message. This series covers a multitude of areas on how we as believers can take a stand.
