Resurrection South Austin

What is the Book of Common Prayer (BCP) and how do we use it? For many who are new to the Anglican tradition, it can be intimidating to pick up the BCP and use it for prayer. If you were raised in the church, what made that tradition unique? How did it form you as a follower of Jesus? What unique challenges did it present to you? And where does that tradition fall in the larger story of the Church?

In this class, we'll take a brief look at church history to help locate your own story in the church's story. We will explore your personal Christian heritage and consider how that finds a home in the Anglican story of our parish.
