Anonymity feels like a curse. We feel taken for granted and invisible. However, it is one of the most important seasons in our leadership development. We have to learn to embrace that anonymity as a chance to learn and grow.

We can get focused on the wrong things in ministry. We feel this responsibility to build the church, fill the seats, and make things happen. Our calling is to people. We must love, serve, and teach the people God entrusts to us.

We can get so focused on what we are trying to create in the future that we fail to enjoy the present. Being present, enjoying each moment is key to longevity in ministry.

We have a tendency to see what we are not instead of what we are. Before a leader can move forward, they have to let go of a "just" mindset.
