My four-week cut experiment is officially over, and the results weren't exactly dramatic
And the things I learned from it were much more interesting than the number on the scale.
In this episode, I'm breaking down what happened when I adjusted my calorie deficit, why feeling like you're dieting isn't the same as actually being in a deficit, how I used calorie cycling to create more flexibility, and why your numbers don't have to be perfect to be useful.
We also get into accountability, including something I think more people need to hear: paying someone for accountability isn't the same thing as being accountable.
This isn't really an episode about losing weight. It's about learning to use numbers as information, understanding what the result you want actually requires, and building the kind of relationship with your body where weight loss can be a phase instead of a permanent way of life.
That's Body Wealth.
What if getting better results didn’t require doing more?
In this episode, I’m joined by exercise physiologist, health and fitness coach, and host of the Stop It podcast, Emily Erb, for a conversation about the things she really wants women to stop doing.
Emily shares her top 5, and we get into everything from overcomplicating health and fitness and constantly chasing the next “right” thing, to learning to trust yourself, master the basics, and create habits that actually work in real life.
This is a fun, honest conversation about doing less of what isn’t working and getting really damn good at what does.

What if the thing standing in your way isn’t something you need to get rid of—but something you can learn from?
In this episode, I’m joined by energy coach Maren Rasmussen for a conversation about beliefs, energetic blocks, and what happens when we stop treating every obstacle as evidence that something has gone wrong.
We talk about changing the beliefs that shape our experience, recognizing when “I have a block” becomes its own limiting belief, and the idea that sometimes the obstacle is the way.
If you’ve been waiting to feel completely clear, healed, confident, or ready before moving forward, this conversation might give you a different way to look at what’s in front of you.

If you’re taking a GLP-1, losing weight is only part of the conversation.
In this episode, I’m sharing five things I want you to prioritize while taking a GLP-1 to help support your strength, nutrition, and overall health while the weight comes off.
We’ll talk about protein, plants + fiber, movement and strength training, hydration, and why this can also be an opportunity to build the skills and strategies that help you take care of your body in real life.
I’m not here to tell you whether you should or shouldn’t take a GLP-1, and we’re not getting into medication or dosing. This conversation is about what you can do alongside the medication to support the body that’s losing the weight.

What does it take to create something you’ve never created before...especially when you don’t have much evidence yet that it’s possible?
In this episode, I’m joined by Amber Smith for a conversation about money, the beliefs we’ve inherited and created around it, and what it looks like to intentionally build new ones.
We talk about staying in the game when the results aren’t there yet, expanding what you’re willing to want, and learning to believe in possibilities your past can’t prove.

I’m two weeks into my four-week cut and I’m down… a whopping ¼ of a pound. 😂
And honestly, that tiny number has given me a lot to think about.
In this quick episode, I’m sharing three things I’m learning (or being reminded of) as I head into week three:
• Why two weeks of data is information...not a verdict
• How I’m using data to make small adjustments instead of reacting to the scale
• Why I’m leaning into the way I naturally eat instead of trying to follow a “perfect” plan
• And the reminder that four weeks is actually a REALLY short amount of time
Weight loss can get noisy fast. For me, the sweet spot has always been using the data AND paying attention to myself.
This is a quick behind-the-scenes look at what that’s actually looking like for me right now.

What do you do when you know something would support you… and you just don’t feel like doing it?
In this episode, we’re talking about the difference between genuinely needing recovery and simply not wanting to get started — and what to do when motivation isn’t coming to the rescue.
I’ll walk you through three simple things to try: stop making “I don’t feel like it” mean something, make the next decision smaller, and remember what the action gives you.
You don’t have to feel like doing it to do it.

Sometimes progress is hard to see when you're standing right in the middle of it.
A side-by-side photo from almost three years ago reminded me just how much can change when you keep showing up over time, and it got me thinking about the places we might be overlooking our own progress.
In this episode, we're talking about building muscle, building a business, wishing we'd started sooner, and the question I'm asking now: What do you want your next side-by-side to show?
Because three years from now is coming anyway.

What would I actually do if losing 20 pounds by December 31 was my goal?
In this episode, I'm breaking down where I would start: creating awareness around what I'm eating, using my simple Protein + Plants prompt, moving my body, and tracking progress without making the scale the only thing that matters.
You can go back and listen to episodes 18,19,20 of the podcast or episode 53 for tips during a cut phase.
We're also talking about the part that often gets overlooked: knowing what to do and actually doing it are two very different things.
Weight loss can be part of your goal without becoming the whole focus of how you eat, move and take care of your body.

What does it actually mean to give yourself grace? And how do you know when you're giving yourself grace versus giving up?
In this episode, we're talking about changing capacity, letting go of the idea that your goals have to look one specific way, and how floor and ceiling goals can help you keep taking care of yourself even in really full seasons of life.
Grace doesn't mean abandoning what you want. Sometimes it means being honest about where you are, choosing what enough looks like right now, and letting that be enough.
