With the recent announcement of the availability of retirement visas in Dubai, you can now apply for a 5-year retirement visa if you are over the age of 55, only if you have one of the following; a property worth over 2 million dirhams, 1 million dirhams in savings or an income of 20,000 dirhams per month.

This is one of the initiatives by the UAE government on the attempt to encourage people to stay in the Emirate longer. What are your thoughts, would you consider your retirement in the UAE?
