I got an email from a 35-year-old father of three asking the real question: how do you build a tribe when you’re married, have kids, and can’t just opt out of society? He’d tried church communities, agrarianism, even moving to a walkable city—and none really worked for him. In this video, I break down what I would actually do in his position: how to find aligned families online, create real proximity in a normal city, and build a micro-community first—before land, before homesteading, before going “off-grid.” You don’t need a village. You need one or two families, extra space, and a willingness to stop doing this alone.
