The laughable premise has become awkward reality.  On this episode of Retro Filmdango hosts Kevin and Richard dive headfirst into a Nic Cage threeway.  Romance, one-handed pushups and bad TV lighting await as we discuss Moonstruck (1989), Con Air (1997) and... an early nineties direct-to-video film?!  So, put the bunny back in the box and get in my bed!  It's time for NicVember!

Oh, the horror!  It's time for another Retro Filmdango.  This month, in the spirit of Halloween, we're tackling three scary movies.  Well, two of them are horror/comedies; Gremlins 2: The New Batch (1990) and Shaun of the Dead (2004), but the third, secret film is a nightmare inducing mind-job recommended by our resident horror expert, Matt a.k.a. Cygnus Destroyer, a.k.a. The LJN Defender.  Geez, what did you expect from this guy?

We had the most fun you could possibly have while Fandangling it up with Myles AND Kathyrn from the YouTube channel Flock of Nerds and the hit podcast Flock Talk!  Both were fantastic guests who opened up about their greasy “Magic the Gathering” past.  Ok, well maybe it wasn’t greasy... but it could have been!  We had some more CCHangout clips the reveal some of NJRetro’s hidden talents and we listen in on a “cheeky” Let’s Play from Lamour Lapin. (PewDiePie has nothing on Rose!) Richard RE-watches Joe Piscopo movies instead of giving Adam Sandler’s cinema masterpiece The Wedding Singer a try, reveals why he has been so busy lately, and barely stays awake for the whole show. Too bad we didn’t get any Sauce-ish snores out of him.  My viewing of Rogue One leads to a discussion about blockbuster movie making today, and listener questions has Kathyrn and I geeking out about some classic Commodore 64 audio! No matter how many times we were told to pull down our pants during this episode, we kept them on... But just barely!

When Vox

and I started Retro Fandango the one show we received the most

influence from is vintagevideogamegeek's and NESComplex's podcast,

Retro Rejects. It was a goal of ours to get these guys on as guests

from day one or at least to “get good” enough to ask them to be

on. It appeared that goal would never be met when their show ended

officially in December 2015. So, we were floored when vintage hinted

at coming on Retro Fandango to reunite with Chris for the first time

since December. We later got confirmation (you can never be 100%

sure with vintage,lol) and Vox and I got to work. Sadly, Ram Vox

could not join us for the recording due to a family emergency but

Duke from Retro Nonsense stepped in as a wonderful co-host. I'm not

even going to tell you what we talked about here. I'll leave that

all as a surprise (OK, most of it was Star Trek) but I think it is

safe to say if you're a fan of the Retro Rejects, you're going to get

a kick out of this episode. vintage and Chris were in top form like

they had never left and are will be welcomed back anytime they wish

to be on. Thanks to vintage, Chris, Duke, all those who sent in

audio questions, and of course to Mr. Vox for making this happen.

This episode will live in my memory for years to come as a high

highlight experience with my online community friends.

Guess who's back? You maybe be able to keep the Mars out of Fandango, but you can't keep the Fandango out of Mars!... or something like that... News covers a man who leaves his SNES on for 20 years to preserve a save, and the details of the up coming Die Hard prequel. We also confirm that Reginald Vel Johnson is always a cop and get the proper way to pronounce “Nier” locked up. The Witcher 3, The 3 Stooges, Sonic and urine! All this in one tiny episode of Retro Fandango!
