We back, bitches!

The villian episode! This is the second episode in a 2-part series and the season 1 finale. On this episode we recap our amazing time at the Portland Retro Gaming Expo, talk about John's Nintendo Switch woes, and break down the nearly $50,000 Grand Turismo Sport bundle. After that we discuss video game villains. Heroes are cool and all but around here we love the villians. Maniacal masterminds who make life miserable for everyone. We cover a vast array of baddies who hold a very special place in our hearts.

Episode 6 of the Retro Hero Podcast!

The hero episode! This is the first episode in a 2-part series. We break down what we think makes a good video game hero. From our favorite silent protagonist, Link, to the witty and charming Nathan Drake; we cover all types of heroes. We also discuss other topics such as Brad breaking down a buying Destiny 2, Nintendo's strange YouTube streaming limitations, and the Red Dead Redemption 2 trailer. So strap on your cowboy boots and dust off that 6-shooter, it's time to become a RETRO HERO!

Episode 5 of the Retro Hero Podcast! It's already been 6 months since the Nintendo Switch launched. We break it down and give our thoughts on how the console is doing. We also talk about Mario + Rabbids (we love it), Everybody's Golf, and our SNES Classic pre-order experience.

The audio for this episode is a bit on the soft side. The issue has been dealt with.

On this episode, the Retro Heroes rejoice! Sonic is back! Join us as we give our first impressions of Sonic Mania. Spoiler: it's really good. We also celebrate a very important birthday. Goldeneye for the Nintendo 64 turns 20 this month. No screen peaking! Alas, It can't always be sunshine and rainbows on the Retro Hero podcast. Chuck-E-Cheese anounced that they are decommissioning the animatronic band that rocked our childhood. This is one breakup we can't handle.

Episode 3 of the Retro Hero Podcast! On this episode, we take a trip back to our youth and relive the struggles of being a nerd before it was cool to be a nerd. We also celebrate Brad completing Persona 5, give our thoughts on Dunkirk (it's amazing!), and have a nice chat about Game of Thrones.

Episode 2 of the Retro Hero Podcast! This time on the Retro Hero Podcast, John and Brad tackle one of the most controversial topics in gaming today; DLC. Love it or hate it, you can't escape it.
