What if your wounds aren't evidence that you're broken? What if they are openings through which the light can enter?
In this episode of Return Home, Matthew “Whiz” Buckley explores the often difficult reality of spiritual awakening through the wisdom of Carl Jung and Alan Watts, his own experiences in sacred ceremony, and the teachings at the heart of Sacred Warrior Fellowship.
Jung taught that awakening isn't simply about seeking the light—it requires having the courage to make the darkness conscious. Watts challenged the illusion that we are separate beings searching for something outside ourselves. And an ancient spiritual truth reminds us that the wound can become the very place where the light enters.
Whiz also shares a profound lesson revealed to him during ceremony when God made something unmistakably clear: “You can't heal anybody. That's My job.”
The message wasn't to stop the work. Quite the opposite. Keep serving. Keep creating the space. Keep walking beside people. But understand the boundary: another person's healing does not belong to us. A person has to choose healing for themselves—and when they truly do, God has them from there.
That understanding lies at the heart of Sacred Warrior Fellowship.
There are no gurus here.
No one is above you.
No one is below you.
No one stands between you and God.
We are equals walking alongside one another on deeply personal spiritual journeys.
This conversation explores the ego and the Self, darkness and light, wounds and healing, surrender, the illusion of separation, and why genuine spiritual awakening can sometimes feel more like falling apart than finding peace.
Perhaps awakening isn't about becoming someone new.
Perhaps healing isn't about someone else fixing you.
Perhaps the light was never gone.
And perhaps the journey isn't about finding some distant destination at all.
It's about remembering who you are and returning to the place you never truly left.
Return Home.

In this episode of Return Home, Sacred Warrior Fellowship Priestess of Sacrament Theresa Noach shares Part 2 of Sacred Ceremony: Building a Life in Alignment with Nature.
As we approach the Fall Equinox, Theresa invites you to see your life through the lens of nature’s most powerful wisdom: what you plant, you eventually harvest.
In this teaching, Theresa guides you through a powerful practice of visualizing your life as a plant—one that begins with a single seed of thought. Just as a seed grows according to what is planted, nurtured, and cultivated, our lives are shaped by the thoughts, choices, beliefs, and actions we continually feed.
This episode offers an opportunity to pause and look honestly at your current harvest. What are you experiencing in your life right now—and what seeds created it?
More importantly, Theresa explores how you can consciously begin planting the seeds for the life you want to harvest this time next year.
By understanding the seasons of life and aligning yourself with the natural cycles of growth, release, rest, and renewal, you can begin creating a life that moves with nature rather than against it.
As the season changes, this sacred ceremony is an invitation to reflect, release, plant new seeds, and intentionally prepare for the harvest ahead. Connect with us:

In this episode of Return Home, host Theresa Noach sits down with Joe Gryniuk—a U.S. Navy submarine veteran, former aviator, and tenured professor who spent decades mastering the world of technology and high-stakes service. For many, the military is a place to find discipline, but for Joe, it became a place where he found himself trapped in recurring patterns of trauma, compounded by surviving two plane crashes and multiple traumatic brain injuries (TBIs).
Joe’s life has been defined by a relentless drive for control and technical excellence, but beneath the surface, he was searching for a piece of himself that felt perpetually out of reach. Join us as Joe shares his candid, vulnerable journey into the world of psychedelic-assisted therapy and his experience at the Sacred Warrior Fellowship.
We discuss the struggle of the "high-achiever" trying to heal, the frustration of feeling blocked by one's own hypervigilance, and the profound, unexpected breakthrough that occurred when he finally surrendered his need for control. Joe opens up about how his background in electronics and research has shifted from being his entire identity to becoming a beautiful backdrop for his new, deepened connection to the energy of nature and his own spiritual reality.
If you are a veteran or anyone feeling "stuck" in your healing journey, this conversation is a powerful reminder that sometimes the greatest breakthroughs happen only after we stop trying to force the destination.

A requested rerun of Episode 7.
In this episode, your host, Theresa Noach — Priestess of the Sacrament for Sacred Warrior Fellowship — sits down with one of Palm Beach's top business coaches and spiritual mentors, Dawn Vasquez.
In the fall of 2024, Theresa reached out to Dawn after a series of divine nudges and a season that felt like wandering. She opens up about the struggle of deciding where to land professionally after her religious deconstruction and a major shift in her work.
Dawn has since published a book laying out the exact blueprint she walked Theresa through in their coaching sessions. Less than a year after they met, Theresa was thriving in both her career and her vision for her life.
Dawn also shares a powerful testimony about turning the darkest season of her life — following a terminal prognosis — into her most transformative one yet.
Tune in to learn how you can use this same blueprint to elevate yourself spiritually, physically, mentally, and emotionally.
