Distractions will abound in the days that we live in. Things are going to happen to try to envelope you with a consciousness of self more than a consciousness of Christ, a consciousness of your need, more than a consciousness of His supply and a consciousness of what is missing, more than a consciousness of who has found you. You see, light is needed for the right ideas to be communicated, especially to ourselves.

Nothing is truly as strong as the things we agree with and say to ourselves. Nothing is as powerful as the ideas we have believed and tweet to ourselves and best believe it, if the light of God’s word continues to shine in your heart, pointing you to Christ, you will believe the best things about yourself and come into the most amazing hope ever-the hope that is found in the finished work.

So write a note to yourself and tell yourself that you are going to fully trust God in this season. Write a note to yourself and tell yourself that the light of the gospel is enough and dynamic in its workings. Write a note to yourself and let yourself know that the future God has designed is filled with possibilities for you.
