On today’s show, I’m speaking with Soumya Sankar. I met Soumya back in 2010 and she’s one of the few people I know who continues to pursue her passion for math. In fact, she compares it to art. In our conversation, she tells me more about her journey through Ph.D. and the challenges she faced, life in the US, and shifts in beliefs she’s had over the last decade.

On today’s show, I’m speaking with Leonne Castellas. I loved this conversation because Leonne’s journey over the last decade has been nothing short of a roller coaster. He tells me why he decided to move to the US, the reality of life as a budding musician in Hollywood, and how he ended up becoming a drummer in the United States Army.

On today’s show I’m speaking with Chhayankdhar aka CD. I’ve always been fascinated with Japan, and CD is probably the only person I know who’s been there for 7 years and calls it home. In this podcast, he tells me about how he moved there as a student and eventually became a professor, teaching English to university students. We also chat about life in Japan and how he’s adapted to the culture while maintaining his own identity.

On today’s episode I’m speaking with Rajat as we unpack his fascinating journey through the years. We talk about music festivals, marketing at tech giants, work life balance in the US and why wearing running shoes to the club is probably a wise choice. We start off with Rajat’s rather unconventional path into college, which is where we met almost 8 years ago.

I met Juni back in 2010 in college where we were classmates, and this conversation was the first time we were speaking since we both graduated in 2013 - which is almost 7 years ago.
Juni and I took very different paths after college - she went on study further and get a PHD in Economics. Through the conversation she tells me about this journey and how she’s changed along the way. At many points during our chat, I found myself in awe with this new version of her and if you listen close enough, you’ll fee it too!
