"The things you do, do something to you."

Last weekend our own crew mate Tayson Ingersoll guided our Lead In by discussing what fasting does to us.

Have you ever felt like, "I'm sorry" isnt enough? It's not like the other person is demanding more but your body just wants to say more? 

For Israel they responded to their sin by fasting because it's a prayer better than words. 

Yesterday Wes introduced our Jesus practice for Lent: Fasting.

I wish my spiritual journey could be that simple. 

Sadly we often overestimate what we can accomplish in a week and underestimate what we can accomplish in a year.
