When life is chaotic do you stay calm? 

Jesus invites his apprentices to relax when they hear the new he's leaving because he's sending them a guide. 

We begin a new series of discussions this week on the Holy Spirit.. 

The Spirit who will guide us into truth. 

The Spirit who will guide us into a postion of calm in the midst of our chaos? 

I guess we'll see.

Peace can sometimes seem like a factional idea especially when it comes to the teachings of Jesus. 

Today we'll take a step back to the foundations of peace: putting things back together 

We'll also look at what peace might look like in regads to sin for our community. 

What happens in the chaos on sin when we break away from the path of God? What is our Church's response? 

Table Groups will also dig into Matthew Chapter 18:15-20. 

Umm Parties? What does attending a party have to do with the way of Jesus and our apprenticeship?

This Summer is all about a practice from the life of Jesus: Hospitality --- Love for the stranger, other, guest or foreigner 

Jesus primary means of sharing the good news with everyday people was to gather around thier everyday homes. 

Good news can come for dinner

When it comes to family this might be some of Jesus most radical teachings. In fact I'm going to invite you to take a deep breath. I was kinda nervous saying this stuff because I get it, I'm wired to be do my own thing. 

But Jesus is inviting us into the renewal of all things including our udnerstanding of family, the church and our role.
