Russel begins the series by exploring the context in which Revelations was written and how we, the modern church, can interpret the scripture that was written as an apocalyptic prophecy in the form of a circulating letter.

Russel continues the message of renewal by exploring how the Bible, God's word, is what prepares us for joining God in God's renewing work. In today's sermon, we explore four questions: What is the purpose of the Bible? What is the Bible? Why does the Bible exist? How do we read the Bible?

For Vision Sunday, Russel begins by talking about the beginnings of Reunion Church and what God's calling has looked like. Russel then talks about the hope brought by joining God in His renewing work and how we can join God in His desire to make all things new.

As the church prepares for Vision Sunday next week, Russel preaches what is necessary to create a vision for the church - abiding in Jesus. To abide in Jesus, we must follow the example of Christ. Russel breaks down how abiding in Jesus leads to restful union and fruitfulness, and can be done through a life of prayer.

Russel kicks off the New Year preaching about one of the highlights for January - Winter Dinner Parties. Russel spends some time talking about how Jesus used gathering around the table as a place of recognition, mutuality, and celebration.
