Husky Talk- SNS Returns with UConn Football Former star Defensive Tackle and Captain Sean Mulcahy. We had a blast last week at Maria Conlon and Stacey Nasser's place Square Peg Pizzeria. I was able to see Sean, friend plus sponsor Pete Finch of The Finch Firm LLC, Chris Johnson who is a huge supporter of our shows, also Courtney Williams, a friend I will never be able to thank enough for help he provides, connecting me with former teammates to interview on
Husky Talk. Being able to meet Stacy, and spend time with Maria's father, Tim Conlon was a lot of fun. Mr. Conlon recognized me and remembered all the way back to 2003. My friends and I took a trip to watch our UConn Women's Basketball team play Duke, infamously, I was ejected from the game in a wild story.
Sean and I talk about music after he found some classic old school cassette tapes. Which naturally transitioned into telling him that I attended Woodstock 99'. Thanks to Frank Cristiano and Tony's Pizzeria & Sports Bar of Washington Mills, they were a vendor during the festival. He needed a lot of help; I brought in most of my high school friends from New Hartford.
What a wild experience, I talk about how during the riots, we were killing it because we were the only vendor spot still open!Sean and his wife took their family to Gillete stadium to watch NCAA lacrosse National Championship games. His kids were into it and they had a good time. We finish with some NFL news. A cool episode all together. Never a dull moment either talking, recording, or hanging out with Sean!
