Cs: Zima v Praze byla krutá ten rok.
En: Winter in Praha was harsh that year.

Cs: Zasněžená dlažba obtékala Karlův most, který stál jako majestátní hlídač nad řekou Vltavou.
En: Snow-covered cobblestones surrounded Karlův most, which stood like a majestic guardian over the řeka Vltava.

Cs: Jakub se právě vrátil do Prahy po letech strávených v zahraničí.
En: Jakub had just returned to Praha after years spent abroad.

Cs: Dnešek byl zvláštní den.
En: Today was a special day.

Cs: Nejenže byl Valentýn, ale také den, kdy se měl setkat se svou sestrou Alenou.
