There are some scriptures that whisper. There are some that comfort. There are some that challenge. But then there are those rare passages that stand on the mountain and shout with a voice that refuses to be ignored. Psalm 100 is one of those passages
This is a time for ALL the earth to listen to that which can bring us together as we face destruction and division. This scripture provide a view to how to arrive at a positive end.

She did not ask for an audience. For 12 years she had bled; twelve years of being unclean by the law, untouchable by her neighbors, drained not only of blood but of belonging. On this day, pressing through the crowd surrounding Jesus, she decided so quietly it lived first only in her own mind:
“If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.”
How often do we seek, expected, healing to be delivered like an Amazon package? How have we come to expect that there is something or someone will one day discover us? It is when we realize that we have the power to heal that we realize that we can be made whole.

Matthew 9:18-26
Paul’s closing words in 2 Corinthians 13:11–13 are not a soft farewell; they are a charge, a commission, and a framework for how this fractured world can rediscover wholeness. His benediction is not a blessing for a select group—it is a divine mandate for all people, in all times, especially in moments like ours

In the Gospel of John, Jesus speaks words that echo across centuries: “Let anyone who is thirsty come and drink… and out of the believer’s heart shall flow rivers of living water.” This image is powerful enough to rise above religious boundaries. Whether one approaches it from a Christian background, another faith tradition, or no tradition at all, the metaphor of living waters speaks to something deeply human: the universal longing for renewal, compassion, and connection.

John 7:37-38
In Ephesians 1:15, Paul writes that he has heard of the believers’ faith in the Lord Jesus and their love toward all. He heard about it, not because they announced it, not because they advertised it, not because they created a public image, but because their lives bore witness to something unmistakable. Their faith and their love were so alive, so embodied, so real that word traveled. Their lives spoke for them.
And so the question arises again: how are we known? It is not by the faith we profess with our lips, but by the faith we embody in our lives. It is not by the love we claim to hold, but by the love others experience when they encounter us.

The Ascension as a Beginning, Not an Ending
When the disciples watched Jesus rise, Scripture says, “a cloud took Him out of their sight.” They stood there, stunned, staring upward, trying to hold on to the last visible trace of the One who had changed everything.
Two messengers appeared and said, “This same Jesus… will come back in the same way you saw Him go.”
This was only the beginning.

Acts 1:6-14
There are so many acts and gestures that ring hollow it is not even funny. Genuine acts of courtesy are taken for granted. We are missing the experience of simple apologies, and have forgotten the simple acknowledgement of extending a word of gratitude. These affronts add up, and there is a quietly kept inventory. These acts of inconsideration take a toll. For many, it amasses as resentment that is constrained within.

How are you known? The truth of your heart is not found in what you say it is revealed in how you live. Words can declare belief, but actions expose the truth of that belief. And in a world overflowing with declarations, opinions, and proclamations of faith, the quiet testimony of a life aligned with Christ speaks with a clarity that no speech can rival.
As a good disciple, we work to have our behaviors match our spoken commitment. That is the makings for a truly good disciple.

Rev Leon

At times, life allows the soul to whisper, and at other times, it allows the soul to cry out freely. Psalm 22 begins with such a cry, a cry that has echoed across centuries, across cultures, across human experience:
“My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?”
This is our opportunity to realize that the confrontation is the opportunity to reveal our new anointing, and we are truly not forsaken.
