We have learned the hard way that many people have been hurt by the touch of others. But Jesus' touch is always pure, it's always loving. He never forces his touch on anyone.

The "Midas Touch" seems like the most powerful touch in the world... but it falls far short of one: the touch of Jesus.

Today we remember with gladness that Jesus empathizes with us since he too faced the same temptations we do. And we also celebrate that God has given us power to put on a "new self" and leave our old ways behind.

Verse 1 talks of being changed and renewed by the flow of God's grace... but we first have to come to God so that the change can happen. Are you coming to him daily?

We know that we should thank God in spite of our trials, but have you ever tried thanking Him FOR them? In doing so, we rob the darkness of its power.

How often we say we'll pray about something and we don't! But perhaps when we are prompted or asked to pray about something, we should stop and pray right then.  Maybe something wonderful will happen when we do!
