When we are "Spirited", we are guided to the truth by the one who fills us. Without His guiding hand the truth tends to go in one ear and out the other!

The Spirit of God is the ultimate expert in the ministry of presence. Be encouraged today, knowing that if you've yielded to Him, the Spirit is with you.

Acts 1:8 - the Spirit empowers believers, not just with the ability to do supernatural things, with the ability to endure life's struggles and difficulties.

The Acts of the Apostles might better be called "The Acts of the Holy Spirit" or "The Gospel of the Holy Spirit". It is the Spirit doing the work in Acts, filling the believers like a hand in a glove.

Being filled with the Holy Spirit isn't a once off. Paul tells us to be full of the Spirit always!

How can we be filled with the Spirit? By yielding to God completely.

There is no Christian life without the power of the Spirit! We are commanded to be filled - but it's not an oppressive command. It's a gracious gift of life-giving spiritual oxygen.
