Ruth Garland's mother was reluctant to let her precious child become a missionary in a dangerous land, until she learned the meaning of Romans 12:1 - offering ourselves as living sacrifices to our God. She offered her daughter as a living sacrifice, and what great work she ended up doing for God as a result!

On a train to New York, Henry Garlock felt a prompting from God to disembark earlier than planned. As it turned out, the place he ended up in needed a preacher, and was able to bless him in a great way as he began his ministry. When God prompts, let us listen!
