Welcome to our Reveal Podcast,

Today we’re talking about something we all need: Connection.

God didn’t create us to walk through life alone. From the very beginning, we see that God values relationships and community. And when we become part of the family of God, we become part of something bigger than ourselves.

Church isn’t just a place we come to on Sunday. Church is a people we belong to.

Connection happens when we get to know one another, encourage one another, pray for one another, and walk through both the good seasons and the difficult ones together.

That’s why small groups, serving teams, Bible studies, and other areas of the church are so important. These are places where we can build genuine relationships, ask questions, grow in our faith, and discover that we don’t have to do this journey alone.

Because sometimes spiritual growth happens when we hear a sermon on Sunday but many times, it happens when someone sits across from us and says, “I’m praying for you. I’m with you. Let’s walk through this together.”

When we hear the word generosity, we often think about money. And yes, giving financially is part of generosity but generosity is so much bigger than what we put in an offering.

Generosity is about giving ourselves.

It’s giving our time when someone needs us.
It’s using our talents and gifts to serve Jesus.
It’s opening our homes, sharing what we have, encouraging someone who is hurting, and being willing to say, “God, whatever I have, it’s Yours.”

Jesus showed us that true generosity comes from the heart. God isn't simply looking at how much we give He cares about why we give and the heart behind it.

This Sunday, we’re talked about one of the foundations of our identity: Truth.

When we say “We R Truth,” we’re saying that we want to be a church that doesn’t run away from truth, but embraces it, lives it, and speaks it with love.

Truth matters because our culture is constantly telling us what truth should look like. But as followers of Jesus, our truth isn’t based on opinions, trends, or what feels right in the moment. Our truth is found in Jesus Christ.

Jesus said in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life.”

Jesus didn’t simply teach truth—Jesus is Truth.

So when we say “We R Truth,” we’re committing ourselves to point people toward Jesus. We want to speak truth into people's lives, bring hope to people who are searching, and lovingly confront the things that keep us from experiencing the life God has for us.

What soundtrack is playing in your mind? Every day, we hear voices, our fears, doubts, past failures, and even the opinions of others. These inner soundtracks can either draw us closer to God or keep us from trusting Him fully.

Hebrews 11:1 reminds us that biblical faith isn't blind optimism or wishful thinking. It is confident trust in the character and promises of God, even when we cannot yet see the outcome. Faith doesn't eliminate questions or struggles, but it gives us confidence that God is faithful in every season.

Baptism is far more than a public ceremony it is a powerful picture of the gospel. Throughout Scripture, baptism symbolizes our identification with Jesus Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. When we go under the water, it represents our old life of sin being buried with Christ. As we rise out of the water, it proclaims that God has raised us to new life through the resurrection of Jesus.

God's work of raising us to life is at the heart of the gospel. We were spiritually dead because of sin, but through Christ, God has made us alive together with Him (Ephesians 2:1–5; Colossians 2:12–13). Baptism reminds us that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is now at work in every believer, giving us a new identity, new purpose, and the hope of eternal life.

Today we're talking about something almost everyone experiences anxiety and fear. What if, instead of letting fear control us, we learned how to face it with wisdom and faith?

Anxiety often comes from worrying about things we can't control or from imagining the worst-case scenario. Fear can be helpful when it protects us from danger, but when it becomes constant, it can keep us from living fully.

The Bible doesn't ignore fear it acknowledges that people experience it. In Philippians 4:6–7, we're encouraged to bring our worries to God through prayer, and it says God's peace can guard our hearts and minds. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us not to fear because God is with us, and 1 Peter 5:7 encourages us to cast our anxieties on Him because He cares for us.

Today's sermon dives into the Soundtrack of our lives, verse is Romans 7:25: 'Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord.' This verse reminds us that even when we struggle between doing what's right and giving in to our weaknesses, we're not left to fight alone. Our hope isn't found in our own strength it's found in Jesus Christ. The soundtrack of our lives doesn't have to be guilt or defeat; it can be gratitude, grace, and victory through Him.
