Reveal Church Podcast

Welcome to our Reveal podcast,

Today we’re talking about the enemies of our spiritual life the forces that try to pull us away from God and weaken our faith. The Bible identifies three main ones: the world, the flesh, and the devil.

First, the world not creation itself, but the sinful systems and values that oppose God. 1 John 2:16 warns us of “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life.” The world tries to shape us into its mold rather than God’s.

Second, the flesh our old sinful nature. Paul reminds us in Galatians 5 that the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit. This is that inner struggle we all feel, the battle between selfishness and surrender to God.

Third, the devil our adversary. 1 Peter 5:8 says he prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. His aim is to deceive, accuse, and destroy.

But here’s the good news: in Christ, we’re not left defenseless. We have God’s Spirit, God’s Word, and the armor of God to stand firm. James 4:7 says, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”

Hello, Welcome to our Reveal Campus,

Today, we’re diving into a striking image from the book of Revelation, Babylon, The Great Prostitute. In Revelation 17–18, John is given a vision of a woman dressed in purple and scarlet, glittering with gold and jewels, yet described as a prostitute riding on a beast. She represents a worldly system full of wealth, power, and immorality that lures nations away from God.

Babylon isn’t just a city of the past. It’s a symbol of spiritual corruption, pride, and rebellion against God. The world may see her as glamorous, but Scripture reveals her true nature: she intoxicates nations with sin and opposes Christ.

Her end is certain Revelation declares that God will bring swift judgment. Babylon will fall, and with her, all who trusted in riches, idols, and worldly power rather than the Lamb.

For us, the message is clear: don’t be seduced by Babylon. Don’t put your hope in temporary pleasures or systems of this world. Instead, remain faithful to Christ, the Bridegroom, who calls His people to purity and perseverance.

In the end, Babylon falls, but the Kingdom of God stands forever.

Welcome to our Reveal Campus Podcast,

Today, we’re talking about spiritual examination. Scripture often calls us to pause, reflect, and examine ourselves not to create guilt or fear, but to align our hearts with God’s truth.

Paul writes in 2 Corinthians 13:5, “Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.” This isn’t about perfection, but about honestly asking: Am I walking with Christ? Am I growing in love, obedience, and faith?

Spiritual examination is like holding up a mirror not to focus on flaws, but to see clearly where God’s Spirit is shaping us. Psalm 139 shows us how: “Search me, O God, and know my heart… see if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.”

When we practice self-examination, it’s not self-condemnation. It’s an invitation to repentance, renewal, and a deeper dependence on God’s grace. It’s checking the soil of our hearts, making sure we’re rooted in Christ and bearing fruit for His kingdom.

Welcome to our Reveal Podcast,

How you ever noticed how we often treat Revelation like a strange, and mysterious book at the end of the Bible? Many Christians find it intimidating and a little scary.

But there's the truth: Revelation was NOT written to confuse Christians. It was to comfort them.

Revelation is not primarily about predicting the end of the world, it's about revealing the One who holds the world in his hands. it pulls back the curtain so we can SEE Jesus for who HE truly is; wise, holy, powerful and victorious.

Today, we’re diving into a powerful question: Why should we study the book of Revelation?

Let’s be honest, Revelation can feel intimidating. With its vivid imagery, mysterious symbols, and prophetic language, it’s one of the most misunderstood books in the Bible. But here’s the truth: Revelation isn’t meant to confuse it is meant to reveal. In fact, it’s the only book in the Bible that begins with a promise of blessing to those who read, hear, and keep what is written in it.

Revelation gives us a clear picture of Jesus not just as the Lamb who was slain, but as the victorious King who is coming again. It reminds us that history isn’t random. It’s moving toward a God-ordained conclusion where justice is served, evil is defeated, and God dwells with His people forever.

Revelation calls us to live with urgency, faithfulness, and hope. It helps us see beyond today’s chaos and into God's ultimate plan. Studying it keeps our eyes on eternity and our hearts anchored in Christ.

Welcome to our Reveal Podcast,

Today, we’re diving into a powerful truth: We are Shaped to Serve.

You see, Ephesians 2:10 says, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.” That means each of us yes, you has been uniquely designed by God for a purpose. And that purpose? To serve.

In the church, volunteers are the lifeblood of ministry. They’re the hands and feet of Jesus welcoming people at the door, teaching kids the love of Christ, running tech behind the scenes, or quietly praying for others. Every role matters. Just like the body has many parts, all working together, so does the church.

Romans 12 reminds us that we each have different gifts serving, teaching, encouraging, leading and when we offer those gifts back to God, the church grows, the Gospel spreads, and lives are changed.

Welcome to our Reveal podcast,

let’s talk about something we all wrestle with: God’s answers to our prayers whether it’s a yes, a no, or a not yet.

Sometimes, God says “yes” and it’s incredible. The door opens, the healing comes, the peace floods in. It reminds us that God hears us, loves us, and is able.

But other times, the answer is “no.” And that stings. We wonder if we prayed wrong, lacked faith, or if God even cares. But here’s the truth, sometimes God says no not to punish us but to protect us or to redirect us. His “no” is often a greater “yes” in disguise.

And then there’s the hardest answer of all  “not yet.” The waiting. The silence. The in-between. But even in the wait, God is working shaping our hearts, strengthening our trust, and preparing us for what’s ahead.

So whether it’s a yes, a no, or a not yet God’s answers are never random. They are always rooted in His love, His timing, and His perfect will.

Welcome to our Reveal podcast,

The phrase “grow in grace” comes directly from 2 Peter 3:18:
"But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory both now and forever! Amen."

Grace is God’s unmerited favor, His kindness toward us that we could never earn. But grace is not just a starting point; it’s the entire framework of our spiritual growth.
