To the Smyrna church, Jesus warns Jews who reject the Messiah a "synagogue of Satan." Further he says to them that the Devil will test you, but if they are faithful unto death, he will give them the crown of life. To the church of Pergamum the warning comes against sexual immorality. "To him who has an ear let him hear."
