Scripture: Revelation 5, Pastor Rhode leads us through this text that is foundational, because it is a picture of what is, was, and ever shall be. As we begin Chapter 5 we see the scroll in the right hand of the one who is seated on the throne of heaven. John weeps because he sees no one who is worthy to open the scroll with the seven (7) seals. One of the elders says to him to "Weep no more. Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the root of David has conquered, and He will open the scroll." The slain lamb, the root of David, appears and the song begins: "Worthy are you to take the scroll and to open its seals for you were slain and by your blood you ransomed all people for God!"
