Scripture: Revelation 6:1-7:17 Romans 9:8 Psalm 130:4, As the six seals are opened by the Lamb of God, we don't know when Christ will return. We do know the order of three things that should take place before: repentance, forgiveness and judgment. At any moment the Lord can return. Chapter 7 describes an interlude before the seventh and final seal is opened. During the interlude we see four angels at the four corners of the earth holding back the four winds. A fifth angel calls for no harm to be done until the servants of God are marked and sealed. This refers to the 144,000 collective. They are defined by their repentance for their sin and their baptism. This number, 144,000 is symbolic and represents all believers in Jesus Christ. Romans 9:8 is referenced. Fire and the wrath of God is coming, 6:17, who can stand. No one unless we stand in our forgiveness with Jesus (Psalm 130:4).
