In John 6:22–59, after performing the miracle of feeding the 5,000, Jesus is sought out by the crowd, eager for another sign. But instead, He reveals Himself as the Bread of Life — the one who, unlike the things of this world, satisfies forever.

Finishing our Daniel series looking at chapters 10,11&12 we see that God is faithful to the end. We should remain secure in who weare made to be, dependent on God's strength and stay secure in our future, as God's people will prevail.

Daniel 8 reveals three profound truths about life with God: first, His sovereign protection over us; second, the reality of the spiritual battle we must remain vigilant in; and finally, the unshakable hope we can hold onto, even in the darkest of times.

In Matthew 20:1-16 Jesus tells a parable of labourers who work for different lengths of time throughout a day but all receive the same pay. They were all given more than they were due but many grumbled about it not feeling fair. Comparison is the thief of joy and seeing what others have can fill us with bitterness or discouragement. Adjusting our position can help us see that we are blessed beyond measure because of God's generosity

Andy shares the story so far of planting Light Church Leicester and tells us of how God called him. He preaches from Acts 8:4-8 about the vision and comissioning of going out and being a light, for him this is in Leicester. We are all called to proclaim Jesus as the light of the world and asking the Holy Spirit to meet people by being joyful worshippers of Jesus.

Daniel 7 is about how God shows the next 500 years from Daniel's time and all the different empires that will rise up, demonstrating that God knows everything and is author over all of creation. In a single moment God can defeat anything. He is the ancient of days who knows all things and He reigns supreme over everything.

The Great Comission in Matthew 28:16-20 is when Jesus calls His disciples to go and baptise people. We are all called and have the responsibility as the church to be making disciples in Manchester.

Ephesians 5:25-32 tells us that we are the bride of Christ, and that our bridegroom is forever patient and faithful to us, no matter how messy we are. Jesus loves us individually but also as the church and He is working in us and for us to be able to present the Church in all it's splendour. 

In 1 Peter 2:9-10 it is written that the church is a united people as one chosen race, by which we are all equal to each other and co-heirs with Chrsit. We are all given the title of priest and have equal parts in God's plans of spreading the gospel.
