He sees their good works but warns against tolerating false teaching which is promoting immorality and idolatry. Unrepentant sin will face judgment. The faithful however, hold fast, sharing Christ's rule. The cautions for us today are to beware of false teaching, seek help for sin and grasp the promises of God.
