Podcast Addendum/ correction:Jenkens/LaHaye are fiction writers of the 'Left Behind' series, not Biblical scholars. God wrote the Bible in Greek and Hebrew, not in English. There is 0 Biblical evidence of 'Pretrib'. It is based on misinterpretation of English scriptures, such as Rev. 4:1. The 'Restrainer' in 2 Thessalonians 2:6 is the 'man of sin' in v3 restraining Christians, not the Holy Spirit restraining sin in this world! He does not do that! The pronoun 'him' has been added to v6 in the English scripture. It does not exist in the original text! (See Acts 17)Podcast Addendums/ corrections from the author Cindy Miller:1. General Allenby rode white horse into Jerusalem at the end of WW1, not Willoughby. I have been reading 'Mr. Willoughby's Christmas Tree' story to my grandson. I did not realize how confused/senile I have gotten!2. Lampstands represented churches in Rev. 1, not candelabras.3. (See Acts 17)The Apostle Paul wrote both Romans 1:18 (restrain the truth in unrighteousness) and 2 Thessalonians 2:6 (restrainer). He uses the same word for 'restrain' in both passages. He meant the same thing! Not opposites! (Please see attached article.)All of the Biblical fathers, Josephus, Wycliff, etc., understood 2 Thessalonians 2:6 to be referring to the 'man of sin' in v3. Wycliff said in his commentaries that the 'Restrainer' was the Pope restraining true Christians!
