Saxophone Legend Geoff Blythe of Dexy’s Midnight Runners, The Bureau, TKO Horns and many other projects joins host Chris Cordani. We look back at Blythe’s career beginning with Geno Washington’s Ram Jam Band, working with Kevin Rowland to build Dexy’s sound and horn section, co-founding The Bureau, working closely with Kevin Archer, forming TKO Horns with Big Jim Paterson, The Neighborhood, forming G.I. Blythe, working with Black 47, starting up the Samsonite Gypsies and a new version of “Keep It” he recorded with Kevin Archer.

Paul Collins opens up about his personal life and musical adventures as chronicled in his new autobiography: I Don’t Fit In: My Wild Life Through the Power Pop Trenches with The Nerves and The Beat. Paul takes us back to his younger days bring raised in different parts of the world (including wartime Vietnam), his love for music, the early days, forming the Nerves, the Breakaways, the rise of The Beat and how his experiences shaped Collins into who he is today. Paul also reached back into his archives of demos and outtakes on cassettes, remastered them and selected a bunch for a special collection: Another World: The Best of the Archives.

Peters discusses why 1986-90 was a tumultuous yet important time musically for him and the group as well as stories behind some of the songs and why one of the tracks has a close connection to Peters’ annual gathering of fellow musicians.
