They say there are three things you should never discuss at work or with family and they are football, church, and politics. Well I have never been the type to listen to what others tell me not to do so I say Go Dolphins on your recent win, I love the church and let us talk about the results of the presidential election.

My dear friend we are all battling something, rather it’s pornography, drugs, overspending, weight or weight loss, self-esteem or the lack there of we all have our struggles and the struggle is real.

You know some people just make lousy friends, they show up with good intentions but when they open their mouth, they say some stupid stuff. So, let us talk about my crazy friends

So today I want to consider going a different direction than the usual kind of sermon. Over the past several months I have been focusing a lot in my mind on the COVID-19 environment and of course obviously we are still operating in this environment, but life has to go on. The longer this virus is in the air the more the reality sets in that we must still get on with life. We must pay bills, kids must go to school, cars have to be washed, lawns have to be mowed and of course relationships have to be sustained. So that is what I want to focus on today's sermon, I want to talk about relationships.

To say that 2020 has been a crazy year would literally be the understatement of the year. So, let me remind you that there are a lot of days remaining in 2020 and personally I cannot wait to see 2020 in my rear view mirror. That being said, I believe that there are three zones we can find ourselves operating in, which zone will you finished this year in?

In this life we will no doubt encounter difficult storms and situations. But how we respond to the challenge of life ultimately helps us go in the right direction or the wrong direction and I have learned in my life that music is a critical component of that journey.

I hope this does not come as a surprise to you but not everyone in your life can handle your dreams or success. Let us talk about how to negotiate with dream killers or the lack of support from those in our circle of influence.
